The Riverside Solar School Build
Constructing a 6-classroom solar-powered primary school and library for 240 children in Meskela Valley.
Before this initiative, children walked over two hours each way to the nearest town school, resulting in high dropout rates among girls. Built with local compressed-earth bricks and paired with a parent-teacher agricultural cooperative, the school will be 100% community-sustained by Year 3.
